Intro time, guys :)

Hi dear Uncles and Auntieeeeeeeeeeeeeees,

i know majority of you wudnt want me to call you that, nevertheless...

I also know that you have been eagerly waiting for news from my mom... she promised she'd send you the updates... of who else but ME :) and that she never did...

by now u must b cursing her (she does deserve it for being so lazy)... but i hope u are still interested in titbits from my side of the world...

Enough is enough! I can't wait any longer... i'll do the introduction bit myself

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii (again)

I am Skandan... that's what they've named me... on the 25th of June at Vizag (my paternal grandparents' house)...

They tell me i will also live in Vizag for some years to come.

the ceremony was much ado, full with pundits (tam bram style), friends and family members... the nameless little me was blessed with the usual pooja, havan and what-have-you.

I was also christened Venkat by my grandparents (It is actually my Dad's Uncle's name which i have inherited)

The evening was more fun with my dad's colleagues, friends and their children coming home to congratulate us. This was more my style coz i spotted sm members of the homo sapien species closer to my age. i even have identified a "few" who can be my future girlfriends, although mom says i am a too young for all that. i beg to differ.

Lots of excitement and fun... i guess... i was sleeping through the evening, to tell you the truth.

Mom and dad were beaming am sure.

they missed your presence... but i told them not to feel bad coz we will have our celebrations soon... right?
